Test drove vehicle and was able to duplicate customer concern. Found the front strut top bushings are warn out and clunking over harsher bumps. Recommend replacement of both the front strut assemblies and performing computerized alignment then recheck.
Removed the old front strut assemblies and disassembled to removed the coil springs and swapped coil springs onto new strut shocks and strut top bushings and test drove vehicle after repairs were made and the vehicle clunk is less than it was but there is still a slight clunk noise on rougher roads. Inspected and found the right front inner tie rod end link has some play and causing the clunk noise. Recommend replacement of the front inner tie rod end links and retest.
Performed computerized alignment after repairs were made and test drove vehicle to confirm it drives straight at this time
Pulled the inner tie rod boot back to remove the inner toe rod end and found the inner tie rod is in good condition as this time and the movement is actually coming front the steering rack internally damaged causing the inner rack shaft shutters around under certain loads. Recommend replacement of the steering rack with oem. Replaced the inner toe rods with new due to the toe rod jam nuts seized onto the inner toe rods.

Inspected vehicle has no battery power jump started vehicle found no charging voltage present, transmission seems to be whining and there is no throttle response, was able to smack alternator and charging voltage went up indicating a bad alternator. Pulled codes p2106 etc forced limit power, p1295 etc system power management, p0562 system voltage low, p0700 transmission malfunction indicator. Advise customer that we are unable to drive vehicle or determine if there are any other issues present until alternator replacement but transmission seems to be making noise.
Removed and replaced alternator and rechecked charging system ok.
Recharged battery and retested battery is bad needs to be replaced
